So little time...

....to update this blog, but we've been home for good for 2 days and life is as busy as ever. 

Elena is doing incredibly well.  She is finding her way around the house okay but tripping over all the little steps or toys left on the floor.  It's been a crash course for the other kids to always keep their things off the floor. Thank goodness they'll do it for her because they haven't been very good about doing it for me.  Want to take bets on how long it lasts?

There is quite a bit of jealousy happening between the girls particularly, but no doubt as times goes by the novelty of "mummy and daddy" will wear off and we'll be begging for their attention.

We managed to survive the 5 days away at my parents anniversary and my brother's wedding.  No one was sleeping right, and patience was in short supply but Elena did the best of anyone and had a good time.   Both events went off without a hitch, the wedding outside on a gorgeous day and the anniversary dinner full of laughter and a few tears.  

My dad took full advantage of the events and piped us around any chance he could.  It was awesome. 

My time to update has come to an end - someone wants out of the highchair, but I'll put a few pics.

The only real blip in our time away was at the last hour, before the last sleep, before the final trip home, my brother (the groom) decided to tackle Ian (225lbs vs 125lbs) and broke his collar bone.  For us it meant a late night trip to Newmarket General Hospital, but for Ian, it means he can blackmail his uncle for years to come and free access to all his PS3 games.
