there won't be much time to do blog entries once she's running around
and pulling on all the cords and getting into everything. There's no
such thing as childproofing around here. Emotions are all over the
place for all of us but we've been filling our time with as much as
possible.
Here are some of todays adventures.
Breakfast was early but we found most of our group coming down at the
same time having waited as long as they could to eat. We all seem to
be waking up between 2-4 am probably due to the time change and
excitement and angst of the days to come. It was colder this morning
than yesterday so we put on all the warm clothes we brought including
our pj's under our clothes and by 9 o'clock we were out for a two hour
walking tour of a beautiful part of Beijing. I quickly learned how to
say "go talk to him" (whilst pointing at James) when approached by the
vendors, and although I don't think I won any bonus points with James,
it sure made me laugh.
